From the band to the classroom to the community, this Florida titan strikes with style. Imagine a venomous presence on the pitch. Textured with snakeskin visuals and energized by a bold green and orange colorway. Athletic, artistic, unapologetic. For the fans who know what it means to strike, strike, and strike again.
Based in Tallahassee, FAMU competes proudly as the Rattlers in NCAA Division I and holds a storied athletic legacy in the SWAC .Founded in 1887 as Florida’s only public HBCU, FAMU stands as a beacon of Black excellence in education, research, and cultural leadership, known across generations as the Rattlers. Its alumni roster shines with luminaries like Althea Gibson, the trailblazing tennis legend; John W. Thompson, former Microsoft Chairman and tech visionary; and Will Packer, the Hollywood producer behind major blockbuster hits. Together, they embody the university’s enduring spirit of innovation, athleticism, and creative brilliance. Though FAMU doesn’t offer men's varsity soccer both officially and via scholarship channels , the school supports vibrant student-led clubs. The FAMU Women’s Soccer Club is active and open to all interested players , and the Men's Club Soccer builds community through fitness and fun —proof that soccer passion runs deep on campus.
