Featuring city-map linework and landmark silhouettes woven into a bold red, navy, and white palette, this piece blends legacy with local pride.

Located in the heart of D.C., Howard continues to be a powerhouse of culture, intellect, and progress.
As a global hub for Black excellence and leadership, Howard has launched leaders across every field, including politics, arts, and sciences. Kamara Harris, Thurgood Marshall, and Chadwick Boseman are some of the most notable alums of this prestigious university. There’s exciting momentum in the soccer arena. The Howard women’s team recently returned to action at Greene Stadium and will face Hampton University in the inaugural HBCU Women’s Soccer Invitational at Audi Field this August—marking a major moment in college athletics . And of course, the Men's Bison soccer team in 1974 finished with a perfect, undefeated 19‑0 season. They capped it with a dramatic 2–1 victory NCAA National Championship over Saint Louis in a four‑overtime thriller—solidifying their place in history as the only HBCU—and only men’s collegiate team—to complete a perfect championship season.
